iurbentia Bilbao Basket wrapped up first place in Group H with a 62-82 pounding of Hemofarm Stada. Bilbao remained undefeated thanks to a season-high 22 points from Renaldad Seibutis. The visitors simple overwhelmed Hemofarm with their three-point shooting, going 11 for 22 from downtown (50%), while the hosts attempted even more, but finished an abysmal 3 of 24 (12.5%). Drago Pasalic and Salva Guardia scored 5 points apiece in a 0-12 second-period charge as Bilbao broke the game open. The lead reached 18 before Hemofarm cut it to 28-43 at the half. However Bilbao continued to fire in three pointers in the second half never giving the hosts a chance as the lead soared up to 28. Salva Guardia added a season-high 13 and Javi Salgado netted 11 for the winners. Boris Savovic paced Hemofarm with 17 and Boban Marjanovic had 15 in defeat.

Milos Borisov got things going for the home team with a basket inside before Quincy Lewis and Seibutis answered and a Janis Blums triple made it 2-7. Stefan Markovic drilled a three-pointer and Borisov scored on the break to bring Hemofarm within 1, but Seibutis and Lewis responded quickly for Bilbao. Milivoje Bozovic kept Hemofarm within 4 after 10 minutes. The two teams traded scores early in the second period with Boris Savovic pushing the hosts, however Bilbao soon bucked that trend as Drago Pasalic and Guardia scored 5 points apiece in a 0-12 charge as the visitors broke the game open. Marjanovic converted a three-point play to end the bleeding for Hemofarm, but Bilbao didn't quit and Guardia free throws followed by a Seibutis layup gave the visitors an 18-point lead. Marjanovic made another three-point play to cut the deficit to 28-43 at halftime.

Back-to-back three-pointers by Seibutis and Salgado put Bilbao over the 20-point mark as the second half got underway. Milan Macvan and Bojan Krstovic responded for Hemofarm, but the visitors kept pounding away as a pair of Frederic Weis baskets made it 32-55. Macvan and Borisov did their best to keep Hemofarm in the picture, but they could only get within 41-59 by the end of the period. Salgado and Predrag Savovic fired in more threes to begin the fourth quarter and increase the lead to 24, essentially sealing the outcome. More threes by Luke Recker and Predrag Savovic saw the Bilbao advantage peak at 48-76 en route to a big win. Baskets by Marjanovic and Pavkovic in the closing minutes only lessened the deficit, but never put any doubt into the final result.

KARADZIC, STEVAN
Hemofarm Stada Vrsac
"I am sorry because we started the new year in a bad way. But we faced a real big team tonight. There are no dominant individuals there but they are so strong as a team. We had bad percentage shooting three-pointers and we missed Vukosavljevic, Bozovic who sprained an ankle and Joksimovic who had a fever. The key was the third period when the guests made teh decisive run."
VIDORRETA, TXUS
iurbentia Bilbao
"We expected a heavier road game here in Vrsac but Hemofarm played without some key players. We did our job in the third period shooting well behind the arc. We made huge a leading gap and it was easy to keep the win in the final minutes."
