Head Coaches

FISCHER, MATHIAS
Telekom Baskets Bonn
"This was no easy game for us as we had to implement a new player in Tony Gaffney. I am excited how well he fit into our team after being back in Bonn for just a week. The way we played on the defensive end I am not happy with our effort on the inside. We got beat too many times off of our interior rotation and had problems controlling Justin Love. Despite having an advantage in rebounding the ball 34-29, we still have to learn to create contact with the opponent first before aiming for the ball."
DEFRAIGNE, YVES
Belfius Mons Hainaut
"Bonn deserved to win this one. We have not been consistent enough and pushed ourselves out of our gameplan offensively. I am somewhat satisfied with our defense, although we gave away too many easy baskets by not sticking to our rules. In the end we had too many unforced turnovers that denied us from closing the gap."

Players

LOOBY, KURT
Telekom Baskets Bonn
"We played a tough team that wasn‘t backing off for 40 minutes. Going into the next two road games ahead of us in national and [Eurocup] play we have to take our defensive mindset with us to be successful down the stretch."
