Cholet Basket finished its 2009-2010 Eurocup in style by edging Dynamo Moscow 75-70 on Tuesday night in France. Cholet finished Group F in third place with a 3-3 record, while Dynamo Moscow remained winless. Sammy Mejia led all scorers with 25 points added with 7 rebounds for the winners. Antwayne Robinson scored 13 for Cholet Basket, while Sergey Bykov had 23, Alexey Zukhanenko 11 and Yuri Vasilyev 11 for Dynamo.

Mejia gave Cholet a promising 11-2 cushion from beyond the arc and Mickeal Gelabale increased it to 17-5 from the foul line. Sergey Bykov helped Dynamo to stay on track at 17-9 before Kevin Seraphin from mid range fixed the score at 21-12 after 10 minutes. Randal Falker scored from the line to make it 27-12 before a 0-6 Dynamo run put the guests within 28-21. The teams exchanged baskets and then Alexey Shved assisted Zukhanenko for a dunk to get to 34-29 with three minutes remaining to halftime. Jamaal Tatum and Bykov boosted their respective sides to 40-35 at halftime.

The game changed back from the locker rooms with Dynamo on fire and Shved giving his team its first advantage of the game, 49-50. Arvydas Eitutavicius answered from mid range to put Cholet back ahead 53-50 before Yuri Vasiliev slammed the ball in to tie things at 53-53 at the end of the third quarter. Zukhanenko opened the last quarter by putting Dynamo ahead and pushed his team to 55-60 by scoring in the paint. However Mejia capped an 8-2 Cholet spurt from long distance to take a slim 63-62 lead. Bykov gave another advantage to Dynamo, but Robinson pushed Cholet up 69-64. Seraphin made it 75-68 and Vasilev scored the last basket of the night, fixing the final score 75-70.
