"When I have a look at the stats, I see that we were best in the struggle for the rebounds, and also in the assists, because we count 19 against 8 for PAOK. Nevertheless, we cannot win a game that we deserved to win despite great concentration, and a second half I considered as a big moment of anthology as far as defense is concerned. Congratulations to my guides who did their best to beat a team which makes part of one of the big nations of the basketball world, and I would also like bring to the fore our tactical side which put many problems to PAOK. I also think that the audience saw a very good entertainment, with a game of an exceptional quality, and finally only the success failed."
PILAFIDIS, KONSTANTINOS
PAOK
"As far as the first leg was concerned, I warned my players of the danger, because Mons had already played a good game from time to time. In its arena, our opponent proved it was able to raise the level of its game, especially in the rebounds, and also physically, and all things considered, I had some players which were at the top to make the difference at the right moment. Now, we're qualified, and I hope my team will do its best to finish at the third place, or maybe at the second, to have a good drawing seed in the future."

"It's a big disappointment as it's the third time we're beaten at home practically on the buzzer. In fact, the ULEB cup is a heavier calibre than last year, and the level is very high in the way of our opponents are each strong. I think we make good progress by meeting such opponents, and I hope we'll win once again by when we play Real Madrid on January 16 for the last game."
KOJADINOVIC, FELIKS
PAOK
"Our hosts were very strong, and put us a lot of problems with their agressiveness from the beginning of the game until the last seconds. I think we came through alright with a success which opened the way of the second round, but I am not desappointed of not having played, because our group is very large, and the coach has many possibilities to make his choices in comparison with the opponent. Basketball is a sport where a player has to agree to do what the coach wants, and I am very pleased of the issue."
