Cibona Zagreb reinforced its backcourt with the signing of Jermaine Anderson. Last season Anderson (29 years old, 1.89 meters) helped KK Buducnost Voli Podgorica reach the Eurocup quarterfinals, where it lost to Valencia Basket. Anderson averaged 14 points, 4 assists and 2.5 rebounds in two games against Valencia and started in all 14 Eurocup games, during which he averaged 10.4 points, 3.0 assists and 2.8 rebounds. He also helped the perennial Montenegrin champion win the domestic double. This will be his second stint in the Croatian capital. Anderson played with Cedevita Zagreb in the 2010-11 season. The veteran point guard has also played in Europe for Brose Baskets Bamberg, Polpak Swiecie, Walter Tigers Tuebingen, Panionios BC Athens and Triumph Lyubertsy as well as for Halifax Rainmen in his native Canada.
