Traore (2.08 meters, 27 years old) has not played this season due to injury. He averaged 15.3 points and 7.1 rebounds in 13 Eurocup games last season, helping Lokomotiv to make it to the Quarterfinals. In an official statement, Lokomotiv has wished Traore success, an early recovery and that he maximizes his potential in the future. "Ali is a very talented basketball player who helped us significantly last season. Unfortunately, it is unpredictable to know when he could return to the team," Lokomotiv president Andrey Vedishchev said. "We talked to the player and his agents and managed to find a mutual agreement to get out of the contract. We will sign a new player in this position in the near future."
