Krasnodar won 87-97 on the road against Valencia Basket behind 7 three-pointers made by Jasaitis, a new Eurocup Semifinals record. The previous record had been established earlier on Wednesday night by Malcolm Delaney of Budivelnik, who made 6 of 9 shots from downtown. Jasaitis didn't let the record last long as he buried 7 of 10 triples, including a pair in the game's final minute that sent his team home with a 10-point advantage to protect in the series finale next Wednesday in Krasnodar. The overall Eurocup record for three-pointers in one game is 9, but until Wednesday, no one had ever made more than 5 in a semifinal or final game. Jasaitis, who turns 31 on the night of Game 2 against Valencia, is in his fourth Eurocup season and won the competiton in 2005 with Lietuvos Rytas as the co-leading scorer, with 16 points, in the title game.
