Sluc Nancy improved its backcourt for the upcoming season by inking shooting guard Vaughn Duggins to a one-year deal on Friday. Duggins (1.90 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Le Mans Sarthe Basket, where he averaged 10.5 points and 2.3 assists in 10 Eurocup games last season. He helped Le Mans win the French Leaders Cup trophy. Duggins had joined Le Mans from Walter Tigers Tubingen, where he spent the previous two seasons – his first two as a professional. He ranked 10th in the German League in scoring in the 2012-13 season with 14 points per game. Duggins was named First-Team All Horizon League after his final college season and finished his career as Wright State University's third all-time leading scorer with 1,777 career points and raked seventh with 330 assists.
