Sluc Nancy made its first move to put together a competitive team for its Eurocup return in the 2014-15 season by inking veteran forward Damir Krupalija to a one-year deal on Thursday. Krupalija (2.05 meters, 34 years old) arrives from Belgacom Spirou Charleroi, where he averaged 6.1 points and 3.9 rebounds in 11 Belgian League games last season. He started the 2013-14 season with Forex Time Apollon of Cyprus, joining Spirou in March. Krupalija has also played for Vogosca Sarajevo in his native Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bilbao Basket in Spain, Hyeres-Toulon Var Basket, JDA Dijon Bourgogne and Strasbourg in France and Anwil Wloclawek in Poland. He helped Spirou win the Belgian League title in 2004, lifted the Polish League trophy with Anwil in 2003 and the Cypriot Cup with Apollon last season. Krupalija has also been a member of the Bosnian national team.
