Artland Dragons Quakenbrueck made its first off-season roster move by announcing on Friday that it re-signed forward Guido Grunheid for another season. Grunheid (2.06 meters, 31 years old) is one of the team leaders after having played with Artland the previous three seasons. In Eurocup action last season Grunheid averaged 5.4 points and 3 rebounds coming off the bench. "I look forward to another - my fourth - year at the Dragons," says Grunheid. "I certainly hope that the coming season will be as successful as the last." The power forward started his career more than a decade ago with Alba Berlin, and has also played for Cologne and Mitteldeutscher in his native Germany, and for Groningen in the Netherlands.
