As announced by the club on Tuesday, SLUC Nancy has signed point guard Darius Adams to a one-year deal. Adams (25 years old, 1.83 meters) arrives from Bremerhaven of Germany, where last season he was the best scorer of the league averaging 18.0 points per game. He also added 4.1 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.9 assists per game to his numbers. Adams played college ball from 2007 to 2011 between Lincoln College and Indianapolis. He made his pro debut in Venezuela and then also played in Ukraine, and a short stint in France with Orleans. Coach Alan Weisz said "This is the kind of American point guard that will allow us to play the Eurocup in the same conditions as our rivals."
