Artland Dragons Quakenbrueck announced a contract extension with one of its key players from last season, forward Lawrence Hill. The two sides agreed to a new one-year contract. In his Eurocup debut, Hill (2.03 meters, 26 years old) started in eight of nine games and posted 9.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. In the German League, he contributed with 11.9 points and made a league best 48.7% from beyond the three-point line, along with 6.3 rebounds. Hill’s professional career so far has taken him from one end of the world to another, and to three different continents. He has played with Rojos de Veracruz in Mexico, Daegu Orions in South Korea, Maine Red Claws of the NBA D-League, and Hapoel Holon in Israel.
