Khimki lands Honeycutt
Tyler Honeycutt to Khimki Moscow

Khimki Moscow Region keeps building a roster to have a shot at the Eurocup title, as on Tuesday afternoon it announced the addition of small forward Tyler Honeycutt for the next two seasons. Honeycutt (2.03 meters, 23 years old) arrives from the Israeli League, where last season he played with Ironi Nes Ziona, averaging 15.6 points, 9.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.8 steals and 1.2 blocks in 29 games. Honeycutt played college ball in UCLA from 2009 to 2011 and then made his pro debut in the D-League with the Reno Bighorns in 2012. In 2012 he moved on to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and won the D-League title, before moving to Israel for the last season. This will be Honeycutt's debut in the Eurocup. "Honeycutt is a young, tall and promising player, who was drafted by NBA team Sacramento Kings three years ago." coach Rimas Kurtinaitis said. "He has a very good sense of rebounds and also he plays great in offense. This very aspect we intended to strengthen because last season we had problems on rebounding."
