Virtus Rome inks Kyle Gibson

Virtus Rome keeps putting together a competitive roster for the next Eurocup season as on Friday it announced the acquisition of guard Kyle Gibson for the upcoming campaign. Gibson (1.96 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Pistoia of Italy where he averaged 14.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists in the regular season to lead the team into the Italian League playoffs. Gibson played college ball at Louisiana Tech until 2011 and then made his pro debut in the D-League with the Canton Charge. He played there until 2013, and then he moved to Italy to play with Pistoia until now. This will be Gibson's debut in the Eurocup.
