Virtus Rome brings aboard guard Triche

Virtus Rome continued building its backcourt for the 2014-15 Eurocup season with the addition Wednesday of guard Brandon Triche. Triche (1.93 meters, 23 years old) made his pro debut last season by lifting Aquila Basket Trento to the the Italian second-division title. He was the team's leading scorer, with 17.5 points per game, 10th best in the league. Triche also posted 3.5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.3 steals per game. Prior to Trento, Triche played four seasons at his hometown university in Syracuse, New York, graduating as the starter with the most total victories in school history.
