Ventspils reached an agreement with center Jerai Grant to remain together for an additional season, the club announced Tuesday. Grant (2.03 meters, 24 years old) averaged 11.7 points and 5.5 rebounds in 22 Latvian League games last season, helping Ventspils lift the trophy and leading the competition in two-point shooting percentage (68.8%). Grant finished his college career at Clemson University and played for Sydney Tigers in Australia, Enel Brindisi in Italy and Hapoel Holon in Israel before joining Ventspils. Grant is now set to make his Eurocup debut.
