A well-rounded veteran will keep playing in the Eurocup next season with the announcement Tuesday that Herbalife Gran Canaria inked Levon Kendall to a two-year deal. Kendall (2.08 meters, 30 years old) arrives from Alba Berlin, where he averaged 8.7 points on 80% free throw shooting and 5.5 rebounds in 20 Eurocup games last season. He helped Alba win the German Cup and reach the German League finals last season. Kendall also played this competition in the 2007-08 season - his first in European basketball -, averaging 6.1 points and 4.5 rebounds for Panionios Athens. He made his Euroleague debut with Panionios the following season and also played in the Euroleague with Maroussi in 2009-10, but that campaign was cut short by an ankle injury. Kendall has also played for Blusens Monbus in Spain, as well as being a member of the Canadian national team.
