Besiktas Integral Forex goes big with Armstrong

Besiktas Integral Forex added experience and size to its roster by signing veteran big man Hilton Armstrong for the upcoming Eurocup season. Armstrong (2.08 meters, 29 years old) spent last season with Golden State of the NBA, appearing in 17 regular season games for averages of 6.5 minutes, 3.1 rebounds and 1.7 points. He also appeared briefly in seven playoff games. Armstrong has previous Eurocup experience with ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne, with whom he put up 10.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in the 2011-12 season. The following year, he made his Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut with Panathinaikos Athens, but played only limited minutes through the seventh game of the regular season, Previously, he spent most of his career in the NBA, averaging 3 points, 2.6 rebounds and 11.6 minutes over seven seasons with New Orleans, Oklahoma City, Sacramento, Houston, Washington and Atlanta.
