Artland Dragons Quakenbrueck reached a new agreement with swingman Brandon Thomas to keep working together next season, the club announced Tuesday. Thomas (1.98 meters, 29 years old) averaged 11.1 points and 3.6 rebounds in 10 Eurocup games last season. He joined Quakenbrueck in December 2011, played the 2012-13 season with FC Bayern Munich and Indios de Mayaguez in Puerto Rico, returning to Artland Dragons to complete his current team's roster a year ago. Thomas has also played for New Yorker Phantoms Braunschweig in Germany, Vanoli-Braga Cremona in Italy, Kraftwerk Wels in Austria and Team FOG Naestved in Denmark. "We are pleased to keep Brandon with us. He is a hard worker and the ultimate professional," head coach Tyron McCoy said. "Brandon is a talented shooter, is experienced and can lead this team."
