Belgacom Spirou Charleroi has acquired guard Esben Reinholt on loan for Turkish Airlines Euroleague side Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari. Reinholt (1.95 meters, 25 years old) is a product of the youth set up at Croatian side Split. He joined Sassari in 2013, but spent part of last season on loan in Spain with Forca Lleida. At Spirou he takes the spot of swingman Novar Gadson, who was released after a trial period. Reinholt is a native of Denmark and has represented his country at the junior levels. He was Denmark’s top scorer last summer in its EuroBasket 2015 qualifying campaign with 14 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 steals over six games.
