Virtus Roma adds backcourt experience through Stipcevic

Virtus Rome added some experience to its backcourt by signing point guard Rok Stipcevic for the coming season. Stipcevic (1.83 meters, 28 years old) spent last season in Turkey with Tofas Bursa. He averaged 8.5 points and 2.4 assists per game. He has experience in both the Eurocup and the Italian league. Stipcevic averaged 8.4 points and 2.6 assists in 34 Eurocup games over five seasons with Zadar in his native Croatia. He also played in the Euroleague for Cibona Zagreb and EA7 Emporio Armani Milan and for Pesaro and Varese in Italy.
