Regular Season Round 4 MVP: Darius Adams, SLUC Nancy

After four rounds into the Eurocup regular season, teams are starting to settle in the standings with the goal of the Last 32 in mind. This week, one of the teams that took another step forward was SLUC Nancy in Group C, a 68-59 winner over Baloncesto Seville as Darius Adams led his team to victory and earned weekly MVP honors in the process. Adams had a performance index rating of 36, the highest this week among all players, as he scored 30 points (including 5 of 8 threes and 7 of 7 free throws), pulled 6 rebounds, dished 6 assists and drew 4 fouls. Second in line was Adam Chubb of EWE Baskets Oldenburg, with an index 34 based on 20 points (9 of 9 twos), 8 rebounds and 5 assists, to lead his team to the first win of the season. The top five individual performances this week are completed by Darius Johnson of FoxTown Cantu and Donta Smith of Hapoel Jerusalem with an index 30 each, and Dusan Djordjevic of Telenet Ostend with an index 29.
Individual highs: Dee Brown, 13 assists
Adams was also the top scorer this week thanks to his 30 points against Seville. He was followed by Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius' Gediminas Orelik, who netted 27 against Banvit Bandirma. Two players led the rankings of total rebounds, as Sharrod Ford of Paris Levallois and Chevon Troutman of Stelmet Zielona Gora pulled 12 apiece. DaJuan Summers of Herbalife Gran Canaria Las Palmas followed suit with 11. Dee Brown of CSU Asesoft Ploiesti was the undisputed assists king of the week with his 13 decisive passes, while Kenneth Gabriel of Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir and Ali Traore of Strasbourg stopped the rivals from scoring four times each for as many blocks.
