Regular Season Round 6 MVP: Romeo Travis, Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd

The second leg of the Eurocup regular season started this week, and when the dust settled, Romeo Travis of Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd emerged as the weekly MVP, thanks to his leadership on court that earned him the highest performance index rating among all winning players. Travis scored 25 points (including 9 of 13 twos), pulled 12 rebounds, dished 2 assists and drew 5 fouls for a performance index rating of 34. He led his team to a huge road win at CSU Asesoft Ploiesti. After him was Partizan NIS Belgrade's Milan Macvan, who despite his 32 performance index rating, could not aviod a home loss of his team to Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius. Macvan scored 22 points and pulled 7 rebounds. Completing the top five performances of the week - Blake Schilb of Paris Levallois (30), and two players with 28 apiece, assist record breaker Omar Cook of Buducnost VOLI Podgorica and Antanas Kavaliauskas of Lietuvos Rytas.
Individual highs: Omar Cook sets new record with 16 assists!
There is no doubt that standing out from all other individual highs this week is Omar Cook's 16 assists, a new record for one game in the competition. Cook broke the previous mark, set at 15 by Travis Diener and Marko Marinovic, and he is now in sole possession of a new record. Regarding scorers, Christopher Lofton of Besiktas Integral Forex led them all with his 27 points this week, while Travis and Schilb followed suit with 25 apiece. Two players managed to pull 12 rebounds each: Trevor Mbakwe of Brose Baskets Bamberg and Travis himself, while Harvey Grant of Ventspils and Landnig Sane of Paris Levallois had 4 blocks each to complete this week's review.
