PAOK Thessaloniki announced the signing of American guard Ernest 'JR' Bremer, who will be incorporated in the team roster in the following days, in order to cover the void created by the injury of captain Kostas Charalampidis. Bremer played in the Turkish League with Gaziantep last season, while during the 2006-07 season, during his first tour with PAOK, he played four ULEB Cup games, initially replacing injured Darius Washington and then playing together with Washington and Jason Parker, but only the team's European games. Bremer graduated the St. Bonaventure college in 2002 and despite not being drafted, he played for the Boston Celtics (2002-03), the Cleveland Cavaliers (2003-04) and the Golden State Warriors (2004), following a decade in Europe, where he played for: Unicaja Malaga (2004-05), Lauretana Biella (2005-06), PAOK (2006-07), Bosna Sarajevo (2007), Spartak Primorje (2007-08), Triumph Lyubertsy (2008-09), Krasnye Krylya (2009-11), Nizhny Novgorod (2011-12), Fenerbahce/Ulker (2012), Emporio Armani (2012), Royal Hali Gaziantep (2013-14).
