Virtus Rome added size to its quest to survive the Last 32 Group I race by signing center Ndudi Ebi for the rest of the season. Ebi (2.06 meters, 30 years old) has played for 15 teams in nine countries in his 12 year pro career until now, last appearing with Zamalek of the Egyptian League. He began pro his career in the NBA with Minnesota for two seasons. In Europe, he has played in Israel with Bnei HaSharon and Bnei Herzliya; in France with Limoges CSP; and in Italy with Ferrara, Rimini, Imola, Avellino, Virtus Bologna and now Virtus Rome. He averaged 11.9 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks with Limoges in 2010-11. With Bologna, he had 11.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks over 12 games last season.
