Nizhny Novgorod reached a new agreement with big man Vladimir Ivlev to keep working together until the end of the 2016-17 season, the club announced Tuesday. Ivlev (2.07 meters, 25 years old) made his Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut last season, averaging 1.5 points and 1.1 rebounds in 14 games. In his three seasons with Nizhny, Ivlev helped the club to reach the Eurocup semifinals and the VTB League finals in 2014, as well as the Euroleague Top 16 last season. He has also played for Ryazan and Dynamo Moscow in his native Russia. Ivlev has also been a member of the Russian U18 and U20 national teams.
