ratiopharm Ulm lands Rubit
ratiopharm Ulm started to work towards its Eurocup return next season by inking athletic forward Augustine Rubit to a two-year deal on Tuesday. Rubit (2.01 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Walter Tiges Tuebingen, where he averaged 14 points and 7.3 rebounds in 33 German League games last season, his first as a professional player. Before that, Rubit had a solid college career at the University of South Alabama (NCAA), averaging 17 points and 9.4 rebounds in 31 games in the 2013-14 season. "His German League rookie season was strong. Augustine is still young and his development has not reach its end yet," Ulm head coach Thorsten Leibenath said."His versatility and athleticism have convinced us."
