ratiopharm Ulm took another step towards having a competitive roster next season by inking small forward Taylor Braun to a one-year deal on Monday. Braun (2.01 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Generali Okapi Aalstar, where he averaged 15.2 points on 63.1% two-point shots and 4.7 rebounds in 37 Belgian League games last season, his first as a professional basketball player. He also played the EuroChallenge with Aalstar, averaging 12.1 points and 3.1 assists in 12 games. Braun finished his college career at North Dakota State University, earning All-Summit League player of the year honors in 2014. He is set to make his Eurocup debut with Ulm next season.
