Lietuvos Rytas continued reshaping its roster for coming season Tuesday when it signed center Julius Jucikas and forward Rokas Giedraitis. Both players arrive from fellow Lithuanian side Siauliai and have won the Baltic League title with that team the past two seasons. Giedraitis (1.98 meters, 23 years old) averaged 15. 9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.8 steals in the Baltic League, and was the best scorer in the Lithuanian League with 15.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.5 steals. He started his career with lower division Siauliu Saule-Aukstabalis and has also played for two other lower division teams in Lithuania - ABRO-Universitetas Siauliai and Mazeikiai - before joining Siauliai in 2013. He won gold medals with the Lithuanian national team at the Under-19 World Championship in 2011, and U20 European Championship in 2012.
Jucikas (2.05 meters, 26 years old) averaged 13.8 points and 3.6 rebounds in the Baltic League, and 12.8 points and 4.3 rebounds in the Lithuanian championship. He started his career with lower division Silute, before spending the last five seasons with Siauliai.
