Jerusalem signs young scorer Mayor for three years
Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem added some more scoring punch with an eye to the future by signing shooting guard Igor Mayor to a three-year contract. Mayor (1.94 meters, 21 years old) was the leading scorer in Israel’s second division last season with Elizur Yavne. He averaged 17.4 points on 38.2% three-point shooting. Mayor, who is a product of the Ironi Ramat Gan youth system, also played for Israel’s junior national teams.
