Zenit St. Petersburg added size to its frontcourt by inking big man Anton Pushkov to a one-year deal on Sunday. Zenit keeps an option to extend his contract until the end of the 2016-17 season. Pushkov (2.08 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Krasnye Krilya Samara, where he averaged 5.8 points and 2.5 rebounds in 15 VTB League games last season. He has also played for Volzhanin-GES Volzhski and Khimki Moscow Region of his nativa Russia. He helped Khimki lift the Eurocup trophy in 2012, averaging 3.4 points and 1.6 rebounds in 7 games. Pushkov also won the EuroChallenge title with Samara in 2013.
