Besiktas JK adds Buker to the mix
Besiktas JK Istanbul added experience to its roster, signing a one-plus-one year deal with swingman Evren Buker, club announced Thursday. Buker (1.94 meters, 30 years old) arrives from the fellow Turkish side Turk Telekom Ankara, where he averaged 6.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists in the Turkish League action last season. Buker has previously played a pair of season in Eurocup with Galatasaray Istanbul, and has a career average of 5.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals. Buker started his career with clubs in his hometown of Bursa – Yesimspor and Oyak Renault Bursa – and has also played for Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir and Tofas Bursa, all in his native Turkey.
