Nizhny Novgorod added depth to its backcourt on Friday with the addition of guard Ivan Strebkov on a two-year deal. Strebkov (1.92 meters, 23 years old) grew up with CSKA Moscow, where last season he made a Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut and in eight appearances scored a total of 16 points. In Russian youth league, Strebkov averaged 15.7 points, 5.2 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals. He spent nine years with CSKA, and had on-loan stint with Avtodor Saratov. He is a member of the Russian national team, and is set to make his Eurocup debut in the upcoming season.
