Banvit Bandirma added depth to its roster by inking forward Nusret Yildirim on Monday. Yildirim (2.02 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Trabzonspor Medical Park, where he averaged 4.1 points and 2.6 rebounds in 31 Turkish League games last season. He helped Trabzonspor reach the Turkish League semifinals and the EuroChallenge title game, losing against JSF Nanterre on a last-second basket. Yildirim has also played for Galatasaray Istanbul, TTNET Beykozspor, Istanbulspor, Erdemirspor and Mersin Buyuksehir Belediyesi. He is set to make his Eurocup debut with Banvit next season.
