Banvit Bandirma kept working hard to put together a competitive roster by inking shooting guard Dominique Johnson on Thursday. Johnson (1.96 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Maccabi Rishon Le-Zion, where he averaged 14.8 points on 44-6% three-point shooting and 86.5% free throw shooting in 20 Israeli League games last season. He started the 2014-15 season with Stabill Jezioro Tarnobrzeg, averaging 23 points, 3.9 assists and 1.9 steals in 19 Polish League games before joining Maccabi Rishon in February. Johnson has also played for Frisco, Canton and Sioux Falls of the D-League, as well as for Slask Wroclaw of Poland, to which he helped reach the Polish Cup final in 2014. Johnson is set to make his Eurocup debut with Banvit next season.
