Besiktas JK inks guard Seeley
Besiktas JK Istanbul kept improving roster weeks ahead of the 2015-16 Eurocup regular season by inking guard D.J. Seeley to a one-year deal on Monday. Seeley (1.93 meters, 26 years old) arrives from La Bruixa d'Or Manresa, where he averaged 13 points, 2.3 assists and 1.7 steals in 7 Spanish League games last season. He had 21 points in a road win against Real Madrid which allowed Manresa to avoid relegation. Seeley started the 2014-15 season with Delaware of the D-League, averaging 19.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 47 games before joining Manresa. He brings in previous Eurocup experience, as Seeley averaged 7.7 points in 11 games playing for Serbian side Radnicki Kragujevac in the 2013-14 season. Seeley also played for medi Bayreuth of Germany.
