Le Mans Sarthe brings in Marshall
Le Mans Sarthe Basket reached an agremeent with shooting guard Jermaine Marshall to work together next season, the club announced Monday. Marshall (1.93 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Novipiu Casale Monferrato, where he averaged 14.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 34 Italian second division games last season. Monferrato was the first stop of his professional basketball career, as Marshall averaged 15.1 points and 3.1 rebounds in 32 NCAA games with Arizona State University in the 2013-14 season. "I have followed this player for two years. Jermaine is a good three-point shooter, which is an area we needed to strengthen," Le Mans head coach Erman Kunter said. "He feels just as comfortable without the ball and around the basket. He likes to play on both sides of the court."
