Steaua CSM EximBank Bucharest signed veteran guard Aleksandar Rasic for the 2015-16 season, the club announced Wednesday. Rasic (1.95 meters, 31 years old) arrives from Turkish side Torku Konyaspor, for whom he averaged 9.1 points and 3.3 assists per game last season. He has vast experience at Europe’s top levels; Rasic has won league titles in Serbia, Germany and Italy and reached the 2010 Euroleague Final Four in Paris with Partizan Belgrade. Rasic has totaled 57 Euroleague games over three seasons with Partizan and Montepaschi Siena and 74 Eurocup games over six seasons with FMP, ALBA Berlin, Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius and Aykon TED Ankara Kolejliler. In addition to the aforementioned teams, Rasic has played for Anadolu Efes Istanbul in Turkey and Dynamo Moscow in Russia.
