SLUC Nancy added depth to its roster with the signing of point guard Morris Curry to a short-term deal. Curry (1.81 meters, 28 years old) arrives on a six-week contract and to help out with a situation where Derek Raivio deals with knee tendinitis. Curry last season split time between Lukoil Acaemic Sofia in Bulgaria where he posted 11.4 points, 5.4 assists and 3.0 rebounds, and Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket in France where in the second part of the season he averaged 9.6 points, 3.3 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals. He started his professional career with AZS Koszalin in Poland, and since has also played with Swans Gmunden in Austria, Mitteldeutscher and Giessen 46ers in Germany, AEK Athens in Greece, and KTP Basket Kotka in Finland. Curry is now set to make his Eurocup debut.
