FC Bayern Munich announced the arrival of guard Justin Cobbs, who inked a contract with the German powerhouse for the remainder of the season on Sunday. Cobbs (1.91 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Istanbul BSB, where he averaged 7.8 points and 3.4 assists in 9 Turkish League games this season. Cobbs has also played for VEF Riga of Latvia, averaging 1.3 points in 4 games last season. He left VEF to join Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt, averaging 14.4 points and 4.4 assists in 27 German League games. Cobbs helped Frankfurt reach the EuroChallenge final four last season. Bayern has also announced that playmaker Vasilije Micic has been sent to Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade on loan until the end of the season. "I am very happy tobe part of a large and already very well-established team like Bayern" Cobbs said. "I am ready to help the team in every possible way."
