For its first ever Eurocup Last 32 appearance, Hungarian champion Szolnoki Olaj bolstered its backcourt with the addition of guard Stanley Burrell Jr., signing contract until the end of the season. Burrell (1.91 meters, 31 years old) arrives from Apoel Nicosia of Cyprus, where he played earlier this year. A true globetrotter, Burell started his professional career with Bosna Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina. After that, he moved to Austin of NBDL, before returning back to Europe where he went on to play for Verviers-Pepinster and Okapi Aalstar in Belgium, Czarni Slupsk in Poland, Eisbaren Bremerhaven in Germany, Royal Hali Gaziantep in Turkey, Bnei Hertzeliyya and Galil Gilboa in Israel, and Tsmoki Minsk in Belarus. Burrell also spent time with Hitachi Sunrockers Tokyo in Japan. Now he is set to make his Eurocup debut.
