Maccabi's Randle could miss rest of Last 32
Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv announced Friday that forward Brian Randle could miss the remainder of the Last 32 due to a torn hamstring injury. Randall (2.03 meters, 30 years old) was injured after playing less than 6 minutes on Wednesday as Maccabi lost at home, 82-92, to Unics Kazan. It was Maccabi's first Eurocup defeat after two victories in Last 32 Group M. Randle started in all eight of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Regular Season games he played for Maccabi, averaging 8.5 points and 2.5 rebounds. He had been at 6.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in fewer minutes since the first Top 16 game. Last season, Randle had been Maccabi's third-best scorer (12 ppg.) and second-best rebounder (5.6 rpg.) in 25 Euroleague starts. Maccabi estimated Randle's recovery time at three weeks.
