Two-time Eurocup champion Khimki Moscow Region started to get ready for its return to the competition by extending contract with forward Stanislav Ilnitskiy, club announced on Friday. Ilnitskiy (2.00 meters, 22 years old) grew up with Khimki and has won 2015 Eurocup title with the club. Young forward so far has a pair of Eurocup campaigns under his belt, and in 22 career games in the competition has posted 3.3 points and 1.3 rebounds per contest. Last season Ilnitskiy appeared in eight Turkish Airlines Euroleague games for Khimki, averaging 1.8 rebounds and just below a point per game in 9 minutes on the floor. In 33 games in VTB United League, Ilnitskiy posted 2.5 points and 2.1 rebounds last season, helping Khimki reach semifinals.
