AEK Athens signed versatile guard Giannoulis Larentzakis to a four-year deal on Tuesday. Larentzakis (1.95 meters, 22 years old) arrives from VAP Kolossos Rodou, where he averaged 11.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 27 Greek League games last season. He had one of his best games – 24 points – in an 85-86 home loss against AEK. Larentzakis started his career with Egaleo AO and also played for Ikaros Kallitheas and Aris Thessaloniki before joining Kolossos. He has also been a member of the Greek Under-18 and U20 national teams. Larentzakis helped Aris reach the Greek Cup final in 2014.
