Cedevita Zagreb improved its backcourt by inking shooting guard Filip Kruslin to a three-deal on Tuesday. Kruslin (1.98 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Cibona Zagreb, where he averaged 7.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 20 Croatian League games last season. He started his career with Cibona and was chosen to the All-tournament team at the 2007 International Junior Tournament in Athens, Greece. Kruslin has also played for Rudes Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Zabok, Split and Dubrava Zagreb of Croatia, as well as for Bosna ASA BHT Sarajevo of Bosnia and Herzegovina before returning to Cibona in 2013. He helped Cibona reach the Croatian League finals in each of the last three seasons and is a member of the Croatian national team. Kruslin in expected to be present at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, next month.
