FC Bayern Munich kept adding new players to its roster by inking small forward Vladimir Lucic to a two-year deal on Tuesday. Lucic (2.02 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Valencia Basket, where he averaged 5.7 points on 42.9% three-point shooting and 2.7 rebounds in 15 7DAYS EuroCup games last season. He helped Valencia win its third EuroCup title in 2014 and reach the Spanish League semifinals in each of the last three seasons. Lucic grew up with Serbian powerhouse Partizan Belgrade, joining its first team in the 2008-09 season. Lucic helped Partizan win 4 Adriatic League titles, as well as lifting 5 consecutive Serbian League trophies and conquering 4 straight Serbian Cup crowns in 5 seasons with the club. Lucic has also been a member of the Serbian national team. He helped it win a gold medal at the 2011 World University Games played in Shenzhen, China. "I had great years in Valencia, but now it is time for me to start something new," Lucic said. "I have spoken with former Bayern players like Vaso Micic, and they speak wonders about this club and its organization."
