MZT Skopje brings back Simonovski
MZT Skopje Aerodrom reached an agreement with swingman Marko Simonovski to work together next season, the club announced Friday. Simonovski (1.91 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Kumanovo, where he averaged 11.9 points and 3.4 rebounds in 27 FYROM games last season. He started the 2015-16 season with Skopje, averaging 6.5 points in 4 Adriatic League games before joining Kumanovo. Simonovski helped Skopje win the FYROM League title in 2015, earning finals co-MVP honors together with Sead Sehovic. He started his career with Vardar Osiguruvanje Skopje and also played for Fersped-Rabonitcki Skopje, Feni Indistrija Kavardaci and Rabotnicki AD Skopje of his native FYROM and Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions of Austria. Simonovski has also been a member of the FYROM national team.
