Valencia Basket will enjoy the services of former Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 7DAYS EuroCup champion Romain Sato for a fourth season following the announcement Thursday of their new agreement together. Sato (1.94 meters, 35 years old) helped lead Valencia to the 2014 EuroCup title in his first season with the club. Last season, he played in 13 of Valencia's 16 EuroCup games, averaging 4.7 points and 2.2 rebounds in 14 minutes of action. Sato has averages of 9.2 points and 4.6 rebounds in 61 career EuroCup games, all for Valencia except his 14 games with Montepaschi Siena in 2006-07. With Siena, Panathinaikos Athens, Fenerbahce Istanbul and Valencia, he has played 135 EuroLeague games in seven seasons, putting up 9.4 points and 4.5 rebounds on average. He won the 2011 EuroLeague title as a full-time starter with Panathinaikos.
