Nizhny Novgorod has added an experienced forward entering his prime with the signing Monday of Siim-Sander Vene to a one-year contract for the upcoming 7DAYS EuroCup season. Vene (2.03 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Zalgiris Kaunas of Lithuania, where he spent the last three seasons averaging 3.3 points in 39 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague appearances of 11 minutes per game. Vene moved from his native Estonia to Kaunas a decade ago and has since played also with Ludwigsburg of Germany, VEF Riga of Latvia, and Prienai Rudupis of Lithuania, where he averaged 10.7 points and 4.5 rebounds in six EuroCup games in 2012-13.
