Lokomotiv Kuban brings in Zherdev
Last season's semifinalist at the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four in Berlin, Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar, announced a new addition in Alexey Zherdev on Tuesday morning. Zherdev (1.96 meters, 20 years old) is a swingman who arrives from Dinamo Cheliabinsk of the Russian second division. Last season he played 38 games with Dinamo, averaging 11.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals. Zherdev had previously played in the sceond team of Dynamo Moscow, Spartak Vidnoye and he also played with the U18 Russian national team.
